The Brief
Joy Early Learning came to life with a simple belief: childhood should be joyful, not rushed. Founded by property developer and father Sam Barr, the brand needed a digital presence to match its philosophy—play-led, personal, and refreshingly real.
Our brief was to shape the tone, strategy, and rollout of this new Queensland-based offering. More than just filling places, the goal was to create a brand that felt human, warm, and worthy of trust—from the very first impression to opening day and beyond.
The Approach
We started by building the foundation: a brand tone of voice guide grounded in curiosity, connection, and clarity. One that reflected the realness of family life and the joyful chaos of early learning—without tipping into cliché.
From there, we wrote the full website—balancing emotional resonance with practical flow. Our strategic launch plan shapes each deliverable, from long-form storytelling to snackable scroll content. Upon launch, Double Tap will continue to produce Joy’s social content, lo-fi video, and paid ads to support enrolments and brand awareness.
Through it all, we will keep the core truth of the brand front and centre: when children feel safe, seen, and supported, learning happens naturally.
